April 23, 3:00 P.M., Trinity United Methodist Church, Lenoir City: Program by Ray Smith

Mr. Smith, Y-13 and Oak Ridge historian, author, film producer, and photographer, will speak on Oak Ridge history.

June 25, 3:00 P.M., Trinity United Methodist Church, Lenoir City: Program by Dr. Joan Markel

The topic of Dr. Markel, the curator of Civil War History at McClung Museum, will be "General James Longstreet in Tennessee".

August 20, 3:00 P.M., Greenback Community Center, Greenback: Program by Paul Bailey

The topic will be "The History of Greenback". Mr. Bailey, a Greenback native, is the local historian.

Note the change from the usual location for this program.

October 15, 3:00 P.M., Trinity United Methodist Church, Lenoir City: Program by Steve Robinson

Mr. Robinson, son of Frank Robinson, will present the true story of the time in 1938 when his father, along with Frank Quinn of Quinn Funeral Home in Loudon, held the funeral of Felix "Bush" Breazeale, who was very much alive. This story was made into the movie Get Low starring Robert Duvall.
